I've been busy but aren’t we all? A good thing, really, with lots of booky stuff happening in my life including a reading/book signing/author conversation at Bookshop Benicia on February 18th, a novel workshop with author and UCLA Extension Creative Writing Instructor Victoria Zackheim at Napa Valley College on February 24th, and preparing for the 2024 Redwood Writers Branch of the California Writers Club Author Launch March 19. If you're within shouting distance of Santa Rosa, I’d love to see you there. There's a free lunch!
Another twofer in this post.
Under the "Guest Writers Tab" I've posted three flash fiction pieces from Deborah Fruchey's new collection "Shattered Windows." A wonderful writer at her best!
And the serialization of my novel continues. Installment 35 of Transit finds MV Andaman Pearl heading towards Cambodia. Nobody ate cat or rat in Hanoi but the goings on when Lovely, Shun and Shantrelle returned to the ship take an unexpected turn. Lovely regales Jessamyn with a detailed account of a drunken sexual romp. Everyone apparently had a wonderful time. Jessamyn is not shocked by what but Lovely reports, but she has a few surprises of her own up her sleeve, leaving Lovely OMG.
Head on over to the "Novels" tab to continue reading the serialization of Transit. Or, if you want to read the complete novel, there's now an eBook as well as a paperback on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Bookshop.org.
