Vietnam: Cats and Rats but no "Three Squeaks"

The Andaman Pearl has arrived in Vietnam where Captain Bayani has declared shore leave. While Lovely, Shun, and Shantrelle are eager to take in the sights, Jessamyn is having none of it.  For her, Vietnam is a remembered childhood horror.  Lagac tries to cheer her up and regales her with stories of the pleasures awaiting her on shore, including restaurants featuring cat and dog, to say nothing of plump rats, fattened by feasting on rice in the paddies.  There isn't really a dish called "Three Squeaks," however, he assures her.   He's looked it up on Snopes.com.  Jessamyn enjoys Lagac's good natured ribbing and gives him tit for tat. She's finding him more and more intriguing.
